Most comfortable boot I’ve ever put on my feet out of the box. Uppers were just a little stiff, but broke in after about 3 days. I have plantars in my left heel and work on a concrete floor all day. No heel pain whatsoever. Love these boots so far. Will be buying from Duradero in the future.

My 3rd pair of Duradero Rutlands, very happy with them. The most comfortable boot experience I have ever had where no break in period is needed.
I really like these black Rutlands, hopefully I will get the whiskey color next.

I’ve worn them to work for a couple weeks. They’ve broken in and are pretty comfortable. The leather, stitching and everything seem high-quality. Assuming I get a long life out of them they’re great boots and I’m really happy with them.

Breaking in so nicely and easily, with the correct sizing in place 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 was definitely a good idea to pick up the boot-care in advance!! Already becoming my FAVORITE pair of work-boots, EVER! ✌️

This was my very first work boot that I have purchased. Yes, I was an virgin of work boots at age 42. No shit. I'm not the guy who would like to spend big bucks on footwear. This was my first time to do that. Foot scan, I wasn't buying their information at first place. I'm normally wearing size 12 in casual shoes, foot scan information was saying size 10.5 ww... umm no way. I went ahead ordered size 11.5 M and ended up too long. What the... Ok, fine, then I ordered 10.5 M. Hey, it was right length size, but too narrowed. Yes, again returning the boots. I was feeling guilty to return other boots but it went smooth with no hassle. Finally, I got 10.5 WW. Now, that's best part, those work boots fits my feet like awesome. They wants to hug my feet pretty well. I was finally able to tight the boots after and of second weeks. They breaking in pretty good. I have no regret to purchase this boots. Oh dude! Free resole! That's hard to pass this deal.

I recently lost a large collection of boots from different manufacturers in the Eaton Fire. When I reached out to the companies I supported for years, I was not given any help. So upon doing research on boot brands, I found durodero. From my first interaction with customer support, I knew this company was the real deal. They have been more than helpful with my boot needs.
The boots are built as well if not better than many of the brands that sell for twice the price. As soon as I put the boots on, they were comfortable and sturdy. Excellent craftsmanship, and I like the fact that they come with a removable insole, making them fit great with my orthotics.. I am very happy with this company and their product. I am the shop foreman in a very busy dealership so I am on my feet close to 12 hours a day. So far I am very impressed as they are very comfortable and the break in period very short. Will keep you posted but very impressive this far!

Bought these on a whim. I was a red wing guy but the free re-sole is what sold me on these. First things first, I used the scanner tool on the website and went with the size they suggested and they fit perfectly. After a few days, they have broken in very nicely.(faster than my red wings) They are definitely thinner and slightly softer soles compared to red wing so they’ll probably wear out faster but with the free re-sole I’m ok with it. Plus, I like the softer sole being on my feet all day. I am a delivery driver for the big brown company so I’m walking and on my feet all day. Of note is the fact that the welt is more visible compare to my red wings. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just different.

Great Boots!

So far a few days in, the boots are nice, got unlined for summer. The upper in the rear is stiff, hoping it breaks in quickly as the area right above my ankle/ Achilles is feeling the new leather for sure. A lace was broken right out of the box, but eh, not worth making a fuss about.

Make it clear that there’s a big difference between original fit and traditional fit. I tried two sizes of the rutland before asking why it was so narrow. After it was explained to me in a return email, I know to only consider original fit for my wide feet

Boots look great and feel great mostly. Left internal heal is slightly more forward then the right. Caused blisters in the beginning. Now they wore in they feel great!

I ordered these boots in wide and they are built way too narrow. I ended up returning the boots for the Buckhannan which I know are wide enough for my feet

When I first got these boots I was impressed by how beautifully they were made. Well done.
Once I put them on the reaction was less favorable. They feel slightly too large in length, width is fine. I considered returning them for a half size down, but decided to try them for a while. With the right sock they are fitting a little better but still feel as though they are a tad long/ large. Getting them broken in a bit before going for a 12 hour day on my feet in them.
They are starting to feel more comfortable. The jury is still out.

Great fit right off, great quality, great look. Very satisfied.

I purchased the Rutland's in December of last year. I have several pair and brands, so this was a "I'm going to give these a try" purchase. From December to August I wore the boots an estimated 6-10 times, during normal daily activities to ensure no major issues before wearing to work. And, my current pair of boots was still in service.

When I began wearing them to work in August, forklift/warehouse area, 2 of the speed eyelets pulled out after the 3rd day. Disappointing, but things happen.

I contacted Duradero, and they were going to have me send them back for repair. After sending photos the rep stated that due to the new condition a new pair would be on the way.

In the meantime, I located a repair shop - quite a distance from me and had the eyelets replaced. I've been wearing them since repair in August, nearly daily, from 5:30 a.m. to usually 7 p.m., if not later. I do put all of my boots on a dryer after the day is over to help prevent odors, etc.

Here are my thoughts.
The AI sizer - I didn't use it initially, I ordered the size I wear in other brands. The boots were too large, the exchange was painless. I did exchange for a 1/2 size larger than the AI recommended.

Leather - it has a different feel to it than my Thorogoods and Carolina's, maybe not molding to my foot like the Carolina's, just different.

Lacing system - after the eyelets were replaced, I have no issues. I did replace the laces during the repair.

Sole - I don't notice a difference from my Thorogoods or Carolina's, in regard to style or quality.

Comfort - this is the most difficult for me to explain, yet maybe the simplest. The leather doesn't wrap my foot like my Carolina's, but I don't experience any other feeling either. As I stated, I've been wearing them for at least 14 hours a day, on cement and other surfaces and I haven't had any strange pains or strains or discomfort. The ONLY thing I can come up with is a slight feeling on both heels after I take them off, where the material must rest or move. But that is like a ghost feeling, nothing to complain about, no torn up heels as I've had with boots in the past.

The most outstanding thing, in my opinion, is the customer service response. From the initial replacement to how they handled my situation months later. It is a model all companies should follow. I've had vehicle and camper companies that refused to honor their warranties - Duradero's response was refreshing and unexpected.

The Rutland's had a hiccup, but the company communicated and responded in a great way, they heard what I had to say and made a decision based on my honest story. The boots work, don't hurt my feet or cause any pain. So if you are like me, always trying to find something that works for your feet, they would be worth a try, in my opinion and from my experience.

Usually order the 8" tall boot but wanted to try the 6". Arrived on time. Sent the 8" in for a resole. Been wearing the the 6" and feels very comfortable. Still ankle support but a little more flexibility and movement. Great boot!!

They are well made for the price, got them in EEE and I still wish they were wider, but they are breaking in nicely.

Hands down, the best boots I have ever owned. It feels like I've worn them for a month already!! That means....I DIDNT NEED A BREAK IN!!! Boots feel "broken in" from the 1st day! They look sharper than a mo-fo too. Thanks for amazing boots!
Also, this is neither here, or there but....I never, ever, never write reviews. Maybe 2/3 in my entire life(im older. Lets just leave it there lol). These will be the only boots I buy from now on. I will be getting another pair for my personal life as well.

A little small but I think they will break in ok, your sizing app suggested 15m when I usually buy 15w. I have worn them 3 days now and they are comfortable

These were not eee. My foot was wider than the sole. Not wide foot friendly brand it seems

Terrible quality, and Terrible customer service. The boots are so uncomfortable I couldn't walk in them. The boot dug into the back of my heel even when I was sitting and even worse when I tried to walk. They are absolutely the worst boot I have ever attempted to wear. Maybe you should allow all reviews to be published not just the ones that hide the truth. Completely disappointed.

Top stitching will stop pinching the bridge of the foot. I have never had this problem before.
