We've built these OGs with a practical design that offers enhanced mobility and impeccable comfort for jobs that require agility. Cowhide full-grain leather, blended with oil into the tanning process to make these boots repel water and more resistant to liquid damage, requiring less maintenance over time. Our boots have a padded tongue that increases comfort and enhances the fit, enabling a shorter break-in period; they also feature corrosion-resistant hardware for secure ankle support along with the 5" shaft.
Functionality & durability are a given with Duradero. Coming to the design, your feet will rest upon a fiber shank for additional support to the metatarsals. Soft PU insoles combined with our unique last provide incomparable comfort for long hours. Our signature orange mid-soles, made from proprietary materials, provide exceptional shock absorption and allow resoling. The PU outsole is a 90º defined heel & lug sole --assists you in stabilizing your feet and shifting your center of gravity to improve balance on a variety of job sites, be it uneven surfaces or soft grounds like forestry, landscaping, or even excavation, the heel acts just like the lugs on truck tires, digging into uneven surfaces giving you higher stability, firm structural support, and a strong footing. And our 360 Degree Good Year Welt gives our boots the durability and makes our boots resole-able for you to use our free resole anytime you need.

I’ve had them for a week now, and am very happy with my purchase. They have a good fit and are comfortable. They only improvement I can think of would be to change the top few eyelets to the speed hook style to make them easier to get on and off.
I love the boots, with one huge, inexcusable manufacturing complaint: The base of the right boot's tongue seems to have been stitched out of alignment to the boot, and (as you can see in the photos) the leather bulges awkwardly. It's a little infuriating to encounter this kind of problem on such an expensive boot that I was so looking forward to receiving. Now I'm trying to decide what to do. Return the boots or shrug it off. Obviously, there is a quality control problem at DURADERO. That is not a good sign.
So far, I am very pleased. But to be clear, I have had these boots for only a month; also, my primary purpose is to use them as motorcycle boots, not daily work boots and I had then customized with the zippers after they arrived.
Motorcycle boots are notoriously uncomfortable and impractical for anything other than riding a motorcycle so, I looked around for quite a while to find something more versatile that would stand up to road miles. After researching several brands of work boots carefully, I settled on Duradero because of their guarantee to a commitment of quality and emphasis on wide-widths.
It took about five walking miles to break them in thoroughly. As far as my intended purpose, I have enjoyed them thoroughly on two wheels.
Worn them several times and the comfort is therr. They are a little taller than my other 5" boots and for a boot at this price the tag inside the tongue should at least be stitched on or better glue.
got here fast. fit was perfect. comfortable out of the box. wish i found them years ago.
Toe box was too small and my big toe rubbed.
I like the boots, but I will be returning them and choosing another size.
I've only had these Dover boots for a few weeks, so I can't speak yet on long-term wear and durability, etc. But so far they're great and haven't been hard to start breaking in. I put a bit of my favorite leather balm on to help things along but I wouldn't say that's necessary to do. Otherwise I've just done what I always do with breaking in boots, which is adding some protection on the back of my heel area to prevent rubbing and blistering. The toe box area flexes well from the start, and having a toe box that's spacious helps. As for the sizing, I tried to use the sizing tool on the website but it kept telling me there was an error and couldn't read my feet no matter what I did. So I just used my best judgment and hoped I wouldn't have to make any exchanges. From what I gathered, a lot of people size down a full size in their Duradero boots, but I sort of averaged it by the reviews and the boots I already have and went down a half of a size - which would be a 10 Wide/EEE. Fortunately, I had good luck and that size is perfect. I'm not sure how much this might matter, but I'm a woman who wears either a 10 or 10.5 in men's sizing. (Also, most often an 11 in women's sizing, and a 43 in Euro sizing. I'm 6'0" tall so I have big feet to match.) I feel most comfortable in wide widths in almost any type of shoe/boot, though I definitely don't have super wide feet or trouble finding shoes that fit width-wise. These Dover boots are very comfortable for me in the toe box. The widest part of my foot aligns with the widest part of the toe box, and my toes don't feel squished inwards at all. I also have a proper amount of room for the tips of my toes. The fit elsewhere, like on the top of my foot and around my ankle is also really nice and form-fitting. No weird creasing or sagging in the leather when laced up. I always switch out insoles because my foot always needs more support than what comes with any shoe/boot, and my favorite insoles fit well in these boots without disrupting the fit. My favorite insoles have a decent thickness to them (forefoot thickness 6.5 mm, arch height
20 mm) so that's one more reason having a wide enough toe box is important for me. Since I have some foot/other pain issues, it's also really important to me that a boot has a shank and that the sole of any footwear has good shock absorption, and these have both. These have the nice dense foam-like sole that I always prefer, something that's common in wedge sole moc toe boots. And the heel height is also nice in that it's not too much of a difference to the forefoot. I feel the leather is a nice quality, especially for the price point. They're also not a heavy or clunky feeling boot while walking. There's a lot more I could probably say about these, but I'll stop here. I've been looking for a pair of simple, classic black laced non-work boots like this for a long time but the only options similar to what I've wanted are overpriced, poor quality boots that are only for fashion. (Like that famous boot brand that originated in England. They're around the same price as Duradero boots, but they don't even have a shank which is nuts and really bad for feet! And they're made of something that is barely considered leather! They also can't be resoled!) Very glad I found these and would definitely recommend trying them out.
So far so good
