Original Wide Fit is for those who need a considerably wider-toe-box fit than most work boots(Our signature fit).
The 6" Gallatin Comp Toe work boots come with 90º defined heel, ideal for challenging surfaces, climbing ladders, and even walking on the moon –you name it. Our 6" Gallatin Moc Comp Toe boots protect your toe from the worst of accidents & injuries on any terrain. Available in M/D and W/3E our 6" Gallatin Moc Toes have an exceptional structure that makes our work boots superior to other work boots.
Our 6" Gallatin Moc Comp Toe work boots have a comp-toe structure that provides heightened protection to withhold pressure, and heavy falls, and prevent catastrophic injuries to your toes. The comp toe not only protects your toes but also reinforces the weight bearing of whatever you drop on it. There is ample space in the toe box that prevents blisters, maintains air circulation, and allows you to wear thick or thin socks as your day demands while the boots also give a perfect fit.
Our work boots are made of unlined full-grain oiled leather making them easy to break in, most customer reviews say it takes less than a week! This new rigorously tested leather is more resistant to water and other liquid damage and requires less maintenance over time.
Functionality and durability are at the core of our brand. Our work boots feature a comp shank that upholds the structure and provides extra protection to the metatarsals. The all-new 90º Defined Heel assists you in stabilizing your feet and shifting your center of gravity to improve balance on a variety of job sites, be it uneven surfaces, scaffolding activities, or even soft grounds like forestry, landscaping, or excavation, the heel acts just like the lugs on truck tires, digging into uneven surfaces giving you higher stability, firm structural support, and a strong footing. The lugs also keep your foot from sliding on ladders and provide better structure & support to keep you safe.
The soft PU insoles provide a feather-like comfort even after 14+ long hours. Our signature orange mid-soles are made from a proprietary material that provides exceptional shock absorption. The PU outsole is shock-absorbing and abrasion-resistant with slip-resisting and oil-resisting properties. Our 360 Degreed Good Year Welted construction makes our boots completely resole-able! Hope you enjoy the comfort of being tough with Duradero, drop us a review once you receive it, we'd love to hear from you!
I feel that my feet are hard to please as far as comfort as my left foot is slightly wider than my right. Right out of the box the fit on these boots were good and they are only getting better as they break in.
The construction seems very solid and I think they look good also. Too many boot manufacturers are leaning more towards style than functional so I was glad to be able to get these with a safety toe.
I also like the ability to get a free resole if these ever wear out.
I will definitely purchase again.
These are just as comfortable as the last pair! I believe, between the two, I'll have comfortable work boots for years to come!!!
I've been very happy with my purchase. These wide fit boots are the first pair that I could take the insole out, stand on it and not have my foot spilling out all over the place. They stay comfortable all day and I look forward to putting them on every morning. This is the second style that I've tried and both pairs have been amazing. My first pair is getting a re-sole and I should have them back shortly. Thanks Duradero.
Enjoying the great quality the boots are made of and very comfortable to wear. Appreciate the great benefits the company applies to my purchase.
Well I ordered Gallitin comp toe size 11EE in brown. I received size 10 soft toe in black! Duradero didn’t get a single thing right!!!
Not to mention I submitted an online return almost a week ago and have heard nothing back! Almost terrible first impression for a new customer!!!
If you're a salesman in a polo shirt these are the boots for you: stylish and look like you could do work in them. But, if you're in trenches, doing the work look elsewhere... Zero water resistance, like wearing sponges on your feet. No insulation, no padding on the uppers, shank in the back broke in the first 2 weeks leaving me with a floppy boot. Just so displeased with this product, and with being fooled by advertisements and either fake or very shallow reviews left by people that had not owned the boots long. Going right back to Carolina or chippewa, my feet are too valuable.
3 weeks in, worn everyday in service plumbing. Ok boot overall considering price. The rear vertical shank of the boot is already loose and flops down when trying to put my foot in it. The lower part of the boot is excellent and comfortable, but the lone piece of leather that is the upper part, provides almost no ankle support, and has a fraction of the padding Carolinas or Chippewas do. The eyelets dig into my leg through the leather when kneeling for extended periods. I haven't had them long enough to judge durability yet. They are the only pair of work boots I have ever thought looked semi stylish. Being that price is not a big factor for me when it comes to work boots, i probably will not purchase again. They run a size too large
2 weeks in and I've worn these everyday. The first few days were rough, the sole was stiff and the leather was tight. But these have broken in very nicely. Truth be told, I'm an elementary teacher with a hobby farm. So I have been wearing these in school on the hard floors and then at home doing chores and working outside. These boots are great for both arenas. The wide toe area is exceptionally comfortable. The leather is really smooth inside and out. Only one issue area with the stiching as noted in the picture. Not a deal breaker. So far great boots, really happy with them.
Look at it! What a great looking pair of work boots. The style is on point, the quality is better than I expected and did I mention they’re great to look at? I had to try them on right away. Immediately I noticed how comfortable and roomy they were. I already thought I owned a pair of comfortable work boots. NOPE! Not until I tried these beauties on. OMG!!! If you’ve been looking and looking at Duradero but have been afraid to make the purchase like I was, do yourself a favor and just buy a pair. You won’t be sorry. I promise. I’m already eying up my next pair. Thank you, Duradero.
Trust the process!! I recommending a break in before actual use. As well as ordering a full size down or half at least. I am normally a size 10. I ordered a 9.5 and it was still too large. easy return, only bummer was shipping across country took a full week. size 9 fit great but I was unsure because of how painful they were out of the box. I would not recommend just wearing them to break in. It was recommended to me by a few people to soak them in a bucket of water for 10 mins ish and then wear them and walk until they are dry. and do that maybe 2-3 times. depending on how wide your toes are. the toe box for me had to loosen up. Ive spent most of my working days in western square toe boots so my toes are at their natural width. Get mink oil from your local boot store and literally massage the outside of the boot until your hands hurt. the oil massage helps soften the leather and make it look better. the heel has a stiff leather pad inside and that part will tear up your heels if there is any slip in the boot at first. once they are broken in that pad is molded to your heel shape and keeps it snug. after they were broken in I also got some nice alpaca wool work boot socks and they have been super nice in wicking moisture off my feet. the boots have felt amazing after the break in. I am a tree trimmer so I work on every terrain including wet soil and logs. the traction of the white sole is good. the fit is great and the boots are stitched very well. I have no complaints and will be ordering more eventually. the insole it comes with is better than most factory insoles. very comfortable overall and I am glad I did not return these during the break in period. thanks for making a quality boot at a reasonable price.
6 months in and they have been a good pair of boots. Fit better out of the box than any other boot I've purchased in the last 10 yrs. On eof the only boots that are actually wide. Will buy some more.
I have searched for years seeking boots that fit. Being a bit nervous about yet another claimed wide but actually narrow, I ordered my Gallatin comp toes, size 12EEE, in Bighorn Crazy Brown.
In Allen Edmonds a 12EEE is tolerable with thin socks.
My Propet and Dunham 12EEEE fit beautifully.
But the Gallatin are safety toe work boots and my experience has been that narrows the fit.
As soon as I slipped my foot into these, I knew I had finally found my boots.
My heel fits comfortably and securely but the toe box allows my foot to spread luxuriously. The size was perfect.
I can run in these!
Now, four after days of wearing, I don't even realize I am wearing boots.
These will not have a hard life. Hiking, some archaeology sites, and general exploring.
One comment on the insoles. I felt like I was walking on concrete and immediately replaced them well gel insoles. The Duradero insoles found their way into my rubber boots and work sufficiently there.
I replaced the laces for purely aesthetic purposes.
Now I have found my boots, I will be getting the same in Black for the rotation. I am also eyeing the Dovers for more in town wear.
Very comfortable right out of the box. Shoelaces are a bit long. The leather is soft, which is nice for an easy break in, but seems prone to easy abrasion. It’s a good boot overall, looking forward to being able to re-sole them for free.
Absolutely love these boots. Very durable for the work I do which exposes me to the environment on a daily basis.
Hey Joel thanks for your patience. We are glad to replace that if it is separating that is covered under our warranty,
Right out of the box they are comfortable. Plenty of room in my toes. Normally I feel a little cramped until they get worn in. The soul is a lot softer than I am used to. I am thinking the soul won’t last, but it also makes it a lot more comfortable for hours of standing on my feet. Which Isn’t a big deal because of the free resoul. I am very excited and well pleased
Boots are terrific!! TOUGH! Good looking. Best value on the market no question!!
They appear to be the quality I was hoping for.
I like they way the look.
The break in for the traditional leather boot is taking every bit as long as I expected it would.
They are a bit hard, so going to try adding an insole for increased comfort.
I like them because they are cooler in the summer than the lined water proof boots.
They are roomy enough I can wear two pair of socks in the winter.
